What to do when bored

Hello! The mouth with the ring requires a bit more time, just to make sure everything is correct with the proportions. The mouth and chin is surprisingly difficult to get right! In the meantime I'll just let you see what I drew on an envelope while I was watching some boring TV-show... ;) Nothing impressive, I know, I just hate to keep the blog waiting.

Hi! In art & craft at school these days we work with lino cuts. It's very tricky to cut out nice details, so I still practice a lot before I can start cutting out mine for real. This is my sketch, I hope you like it, and I hope I manage to make it well :)

Just something, like...something

Hi! I've been SO busy lately! And I'm afraid it's going to stay that way for a while. Soon it's Christmas, and before that happens, the school tries to kill us by giving us tests, homework and...and... Well, there's just too much to think about, I guess, but I'll be as active as I possibly can with this blog Tomorrow we're having a test in science, about organic chemistry and hydrocarbons.

And I'm still trying to figure out what to add to my newest drawing, you guys - give me some ideas!

I got the grade for my mitt a few days ago, I got 5/6. That's like an A- :)

Waltz of the Ocean

This is an unfinished drawing. For now there's a girl dancing, and another girl watching her. I plan to get more girls into this scene, and probably they'll all be watching the dancer in the middle. Now here's my problem: what kinds of girls should I draw? Please tell me: should they sit down somehow, or should someone else be dancing as well? I want every single one of them to act their own way.

Time to update my equipment?

Hi! I've been listening to a lot of music lately, and it is just starting to annoy me that the sound of heaven only reaches my right ear. Usually I catch my mother's earplugs, but now, when she's in the States (!!!) visiting her boyfriend, I'm forced to use my own. I'm considering to buy some new equipment to my iPod.

Vampire Mouth

Now I'm on my way to the cinema!

Hi! Today I'm watching Twilight - Breaking Dawn part 2 with Elsie and Vilje. In that occasion I've drawn a vampire mouth, and scanned it step by step.

Now, how's my future doing?

I was at the high school named Elvebakken today! I loved it there. We drew a lot, but mainly we worked with collages. That was the way the teacher introduced us to the subject of art and craft, and I thought it was really fun. I think I want to start there next year, since the combination of art and general studies lets me continue with the studies I need to be an architect. I have considered architecture for a while, and I think it could be the perfect job for me. In addition to my own opinions, my mother wants me to be an architect too, because of my good grades and skills in both math and art, which she says there is a lack of in Norway. And I agree, it fits my interests, and it probably wouldn't be too hard to find a job. So how's my future doing? Great! For now...I still have the music in mind too.

Oven mitt!

This was a task in art & craft at school. I wonder what grade I'll get. I have simply scanned it, which works well in the middle of the mitt, but gets a little blurry in the corners... Well, well, you can at least see what it is :P
On Wednesday I am going to visit a high school named Elvebakken, to see how I fell about starting there next year. The subject I'll look at is art & craft with general studies, of course.

It's raining - again!

For one moment I thought winter was finally here. Now all the snow is washed away.

Who is this?

Hi, guys! I'm sorry I haven't posted anything for a couple of days, but now I've got something for you :)
I was going to draw a woman (as allways)... It was not supposed to be anyone from real life, but somehow - could it be because of the lips? - I feel like this face looks a bit like Angelina Jolie. And I know it's not looking too much alike, but don't you see some kind of similarity?
Well, the sad thing is, the more I look at it, it's not similar at all...

New poem

Nothing cures my misery these days
Who'd think life could end in so many ways?

Mother, I've commited so many crimes
And the worst is my own defeat
The poetry of sanity no longer rhymes
I lived over, and it's me they tried to beat

Nothing cures my misery these days
Who'd think peace could be interpreted in such ways?

So, speaking of interpretation - what do you think this poem is about? I want to know your opinions to get inspired!

I drew this one at ( By the way, my nickname there is Jippitippy, so take a look ;)
A friend of mine didn't see the lips in this picture at first - she saw an animal with big ears and a nose of an elephant. It took me a while understanding what she ment, but now it's seems obvious, even to me, that there is an animal here. Do you see it?

Watching You

I'm watching you, and I'm listening to:

I was just watching some Youtube videos of people drawing stuff yesterday, to get inspiration, and I sure did. I spent the next hour or so drawing this classical, naked woman sitting on a blanket.

"Full" - "Shit"

This one is inspired by the children's book "The Little Prince", which a good friend of mine, Emma B, told me about. I love this story, probably mostly because it reminds me of her, who moved from Oslo a while ago. So Emma, know this: I MISS YOU! We all do.

Doing gymnastics again!

Two of my friends and I had to stop with the gymnastics at the beginning of this semester. Now we have finally got an oppurtunity to train somewhere else! This group of gymnastics is on a higher lever, so we'll be valuated, and our skills will be tested on Sunday. I'm so excited! For the first time while ago, I can get in shape :)

Now you've seen them both - the perfect duett of furry, snoring creatures, who I love!

St. Hanshaugen

These photos are taken a couple of hours ago, in a beautiful park near my home. Please excuse the quality - my camera is actually really good, but the combination of the darkness and my own patience lowered by the cold, it could maybe have been better. And I really, really want a tripod!
Hope you like it!

I love the clouds tonight, though :)

This is the view to Holmenkollen - the big ski jump.

Good night

I think it's full moon tonight. I just saw it, when I looked towards the sky as I walked out the door at my friend's house. And when I turned, I saw not a big, but big enough, amount of snow falling, and landing softly at my face and shoulders. I love life, I thought, 'cause I do.

I was with my friend, Indiana, a very musical girl, in fact, who performed her newest song for me. We've decided to work together with the desire of music that we both have, so we've spent the day mostly working on different voices together, listening to Gotye, more singing, and more listening.
This song is actually in Norwegian, and we'll make a music video, which we hope will be ready for Youtube broadcasting this fall or winter!

Good night

Practising for oral exam

Today my subject and task was drawn for the practising of oral exam. I got math! I'm going to perform on monday, and I'm SOOOO excited, but still shaking like the nerve wreck that I am. So now I'll work my ass off, see yah when I'm done!

Leaves are falling

Hi, everybody! Now the cold is coming from what we thought was nowhere, and the forest is painted in the beautiful colors of fall. It's turning to winter, and I expect snow to be around the corner soon.

But before Oslo becomes white (then awfully grey, because of the traffic :( ) we can walk around, kikking away the leaves as we go - in halloween costumes! I'm looking foreward to Wednesday, when I'm invited in the precious anual party with my friends. This will be the tenth time! I love traditions, don't you?

Anyway, I've prepared a new drawing for you, coming out on halloween. It's the continuing picture in the story of a monster hiding. The "story" (it's really just two drawings I've decided that should belong to each other) tells you to be careful, and to look out for dangers that might not be possible to see at first. Here's the first one, enjoy:

When You Come By

My road is far to walk, my life is tough
Without you by my side
I will die faster
And everything glides out of my mind

The most uplifting thoughts are the thoughts about you
And the memories I fought to still believe in
Were true, darling
Yesterday all my doubt flew

And every time when you come by
You smile and stare into my eyes
And in your sight the whole world's to find
And your eyes glow untill I'm blind

Now what is filling this house is a river of tears
But the tears are of joy
For here's you
Just now all my wishes came true

You can finally Take My Hand!

Now I'm pretty sure I'm finished with this damn song! It's not going to be a performance - sorry, folks! I know you really want to hear me sing (or let's at least pretend that you do XD) - you'll have to wait some more... But here's the song, anyway!

Take My Hand
I’m alive, and I’m creative
I create the road as I go
Intelligence is just a plan
I only need you, my love, to take my hand
To take my hand

Give me a nice, old, rotten rose
And I’ll show you how to make it young, with all the love we’ve got
Give me inspiration
Stay by my side, and take my hand
And take my hand

Then somehow the rainbow vanishes in front of my eyes
I don’t recognize this people crawling like a bunch of mice

What’s going on in this unfair world?
People don’t live for long
The killing scares me and digs my grave
This man in a black cloak tries to take my hand
He takes my hand

I’m dragged in, in this burning night
I miss you so deeply – I wish I may, I wish I might
I tell a star that I want my man
Then you look at me and you take my hand
She shock is sinking in –
You were taking my hand

Take My Hand continues...

I've just come up with a third verse to my song "Take My Hand"! (The first half part is to find somewhere at this blog too.) These lyrics are probably not finished - in some versions of hte song I'll probably not add this last part at all. But here it is,suddenly it's not just a love song after all:

Then somehow the rainbow vanishes in front of my eyes
I don't recognize this people crawling like a bunch of mice

What's going on in this unfair world?
People don't live for long

The killing scares me and digs my grave
This man in a black cloak tries to take my hand

He takes my hand

Turkey full of animals

I have been to a little Turkish town named Mahmutlar this fall, and I came home yesterday, after spending the night at a metalic bench at Istanbul Airport. In spite of the great "smallness" of Mahmutlar, the town is full of animals, especially cats and dogs. Here are some of the pics I took:

There's a store near by our apartment - the owners have ducks! They are walking around freely, but they seem loyal. They always stay around, and sometimes they play in the little water pit on the pavement. <3
